Theft
2007-12-09 16:53:00

Theft, also known as stealing, is the illegal taking of the property of public or individuals without consent.

Tips:

 ·When encountering burglary during the night, stay calm. Do not get up to check out immediately or even turn on the lights. Neutralize the suspect only when you are able to, and then call the police. Otherwise, do not confront the suspects.
 ·When the suspect robs you by force, do not risk your life to protect your property.
 ·When you discover your home has been broken in when you were out, call the police immediately and preserve the crime scene to help with the investigation.

Suggestions:

 ·Keep your valuable items in safe and locked-up places.
 ·Lock the doors before you go to sleep and do not, if possible, let open the windows that are easy to climb in from.
 ·Do not trust any con artists, or bring strangers back home for petty advantages.
 ·Be aware whether you are followed by strangers in public places. Take your valuable belongings with yourself.
 ·Take your keys with yourself. Tell the children keep the keys in safety, in case criminals take advantages of them. Change your locks in time once you lose the keys.
 ·Enhance awareness of self-protection. Keep your personal information in secret. Do not boast about your wealth in public places.
