Mud-rock flow is a fast-moving landslide that tends to flow in channels. The flow is a mixture of water and solid objects such as mud, sands, cobbles, boulders, etc.
Tips:
·Move to the higher ground such as hillsides of the valley whenever you spot any signs of coming mud rock flow.
·When you try to escape, abandon anything that may slow you down.
·Do not hide at the foot of mountain slopes with loose boulders and other accumulated objects.
·Do not linger in the low spots. Do not climb onto the trees.
Suggestions:
·Signs before a mud-rock slide: sudden rise of river level and the speed of the water with woods and trees branches; thunder sound coming from the deep valley and fissure; the deep valley suddenly becoming dark accompanying the ground shaking.
·When outing in mountainous countryside, choose stretch plains as camping site, stay away from the winding, narrow and bumpy banks.
·Never camp on the dry river beds. Be careful when encountering rainstorm during the night.
